Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber extends its warm regards and informs you that it has received a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union, numbered (45102753), dated (26/6/1445H). The letter refers to the Union's reception of a letter from the General Authority for Food and Drug, numbered (17342/A), dated (20/6/1445H). This letter includes the recommendations issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) under Article (11.4) and Article (14.8) of the Constitution for Terrestrial Animal Health. These recommendations indicate the possibility of lifting the ban.
Considering this, and in light of the decision issued by the Authority, numbered (16692/Q), dated (14/6/1445H), regarding the lifting of the temporary ban imposed on the import of beef, sheep, their products, and equipment from the United Kingdom and the Swiss Republic.
